As part of CPM/Retail Team your daily tasks will include:

  • To follow clear operational processes and customer specifications to provide consistently high quality products
  • Understanding how your role impacts on the effective operation of the line and to identify improvements to the ways of working;

Requirements


Specifically, you will:

  • Check the cuts of meat to ensure that they are in line with specifications.
  • Arrange meat in packaging, complying with display requirements.
  • Ensure that the pack weight is correct.
  • Reject any items including packaging and meats that look to be outside of our quality specifications.
  • You will be working at a fast pace and accurately checking the meat.

The Role

We are looking for new team members to join our fast-paced Production department. As Production Operative, you don’t need to have worked in a drinks factory before as you will receive full training on how to run our canning, bottling and TetraPak machines. As well as operating the production lines you will also:

· Carry out and record quality checks.

· Record downtime of equipment accurately.

· Ensure equipment is kept clean through regular hygiene procedures.

· Adhere to health and safety policies and working to risk assessments.

Candidate requirements

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

· Safety conscious.

· Basic IT skills and a good standard of English and Maths.

Hours and Location

Our factory is based in Knighton and you will work a 12-hour continental shift pattern of rotating days and nights (0600-1800 and 1800-0600), working an average of 42 hours per week.
