Job Description
- Overseeing the daily operations of the production line
- Managing and motivating a team of professionals
- Maintaining quality standards in line with company policies
- Implementing safety and health measures on the production floor
- Driving continuous improvement using lean manufacturing techniques
- Conducting regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Ensuring timely completion of production targets
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the relevant department
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Shift Manager should have:
- Experience in a team leader role in the industrial or manufacturing sector
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- A strong track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles
- Proven ability to drive cost-down initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills
