Who we are:

Myshon is a national Intensive Housing Management, Asset Management, and Advisory company established in 2017. We focus on Specialist Supported Housing, Supported Housing, and Affordable Housing. Our mission is to support independent living for vulnerable adults, including those with acute mental health issues, severe learning and physical difficulties, and alcohol and substance misuse.

Job role:

The Property Analyst will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, and analysing opportunities for our partners, with a focus on the Supported Housing and Specialised Supported Housing markets. This individual will assess the financial viability of properties, provide detailed market insights, and support strategic acquisition decisions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, and forecasts.
  • Assess risk metrics.
  • Monitor market trends, including property values, rental yields, and housing demand.
  • Collaborate with the acquisitions team to provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Support due diligence processes for property acquisitions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Manage and manipulate large and complex datasets to derive performance metrics.
  • Work closely with property underwriters, pricing, claims, and exposure management teams to develop performance monitoring and portfolio management tools.
  • Support the business with in-depth portfolio analyses and performance management.
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc MI reports and KPIs as required.
  • Support and participate in relevant project initiatives.
  • Analysis of pricing model and exposure management data, including parameter validations if required.
  • Support for business planning process and reporting requirements to regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in property analysis, evaluation, or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of the property market, particularly supported housing (preferred).
  • Knowledge of MS Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • Experience of regulatory requirements (e.g., Supported Exempt Accommodation, and the Regulatory Oversight Act) preferred.

About you:

  • Highly analytical, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident working with data and creating reports.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and/or tools such as Python scripting
  • Strong understanding of the property market (experience in supported housing is a plus).
  • Proficient with tools like Pipedrive, Nimbus, Searchland or other similar asset management tools
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a personal car
