Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Property Valuer to join our team. The Property Valuer will be responsible for assessing and determining the value of various properties based on market conditions and property specifics.
There is uncapped bonuses for this role in addition to the basic pay
Here are the roles and responsibilities for the property valuer:
Take pictures of the exterior and interior of a property for later review and to include in their report.
Measure the exterior and interior of the property.
Look around the exterior of the property and take notes of any potential damages or structural issues like a damaged roof, broken window, chipping paint or termite damage.
Look around the exterior of the property and take notes on any significant improvements that could increase the value of the property like a new roof, fresh paint, well-kept lawn or add-ons to the existing structure.
Survey the interior of the property to identify the number of rooms, bathrooms and amenities like updated kitchen appliances, fireplace, modern light fixtures and wood floors.
Survey the interior of the property to identify potential structural issues or damages like chipping paint, slanted floors or ceilings, holes in the floor or wall, outdated or stained flooring, lack of natural light or signs of mold damage.
Review local zoning codes.
Compare the property’s selling value to other buildings in the area.
Draft a report using the notes and photos taken at the property.
Duties:
– Conduct property inspections and evaluations to assess value accurately
– Analyse market trends, comparable properties, and other factors affecting property values
– Prepare detailed reports outlining property valuations
– Communicate effectively with clients to explain valuation methods and results
– Drive to various properties for inspections
– Utilize Excel and IT tools for data analysis and reporting
– Maintain organized records of property valuations
Requirements:
– Strong customer service skills to interact with clients professionally
– Excellent communication skills to convey valuation information clearly
– Ability to analyse market data and property information effectively
– Drive to travel to different properties for inspections
– Proficiency in Excel and IT tools for data management
– Organizational skills to maintain accurate records
Preferred Skills:
– Previous experience in property valuation or real estate industry is a plus
