The Mercure Barnsley Tankersley Manor Hotel and Spa has 98 modern and comfortable hotel rooms perfect for working or unwinding, a selection of dining options and lovely space for our guests to relax in. We are looking to recruit a Public Area Cleaner who is confident, efficient and passionate in the delivery of high standards of cleanliness and excellent customer service.

Working as part of the Housekeeping team you will ensure all public areas within the hotel are cleaned on a daily basis. You will have an eye for detail and naturally high standards. You will be a vital cog in the daily workings of the hotel ensuring all public areas are clean and tidy for our guests

Reporting to our Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness of our hotel’s public areas are of the highest standard at all times, to consistently meet both hotel and Mercure brand standards. The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be willing to learn and show that they care.

It is essential that you have great communication and organisational skills, along with a professional and friendly approach.
