Job Description

The Woodfalls Inn is a beautiful place to eat, drink and stay. Customers can sit in our restaurant, bar, or patio enjoying quality food and a varied drinks menu. We have ten guest rooms. We are situated in Woodfalls, Downton, easy access from A338, A31, M27 and Salisbury and surrounding areas.

We are looking for full time experienced Restaurant and Bar Supervisor or Assistant Manager to join our team, we can offer a variety of hours/shifts. We are looking for happy, attentive and flexible people with excellent customer service skills and drive to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity.

• Great communication skills, working well with team members

General responsibilities to include:

• To carry out opening and closure procedures
• Deal with enquiries for rooms, restaurant and function room
• To greet and check in/out room guests
• To greet restaurant guests
• To serve food and drink to guests in bar, restaurant, function room and outside areas
• To establish full knowledge of our food and beverage menus
• To understand and react accordingly to customer requirements and successfully achieve additional sales through upselling
• To ensure all areas are cleaned, prepared and stocked ready for service

This position does require working Saturdays and Sundays but due to the nature of our business we can offer some early shifts or to have some weekends off. Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
