Quality Officer (6 month FTC)

The Company

Our client is a specialist manufacturing company. For maternity cover they are recruiting for a Quality Officer.

The Role

• Will be site based.
• You will perform QA activities supporting the overall quality management system, in accordance with ISO 9001/GMP guidelines.
• Maintain, monitor and review all QA activities in the site quality management system, driving quality compliance actions to completion.
• Batch document review and approval of final product to end markets.
• Provide QA approval on change controls, deviations, OOS, complaints.
• Provide support for internal and external audits.
• Generate quality technical agreements, using effective communication with end customers and distributors.
• Take part in customer meetings where applicable.
• Coordinate with the wider organisation on customer complaints, deviations and QMS related activities.
• Perform review and approval of validation protocol and reports.
• Act as delegate for Quality manager in all QA aspects, where required.

The Person

• Will have experience in a similar role withing manufacturing.
• You must have a keen interest in science.
• ISO 9001/GMP guidelines experience is essential.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
• Computer literature with good word and excel skills.
• Ability to solve problems and prioritise workload.
• Good attention to detail.
• Will be willing to work on a FTC.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
