A busy and growing Industrial Packaging Company located in the Newton Heath of Manchester are seeking a competent administrator for both HR and Compliance along with PA duties for senior management.
This is a new dedicated role within the business which will entail project work to begin with to implement new software to streamline the process under the guidance of management,
You will be responsible for processing and administrating HR and payroll information accurately and efficiently. Support managers and Colleagues on queries raised. This is a new role within a growing business (staff levels of 25-30) and so we are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative to set up systems and processes. You must be able to multi task and manage your time within a varied role.
The candidate must have strong computer skills, working in primarily in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of working on SAGE Accounts is advantageous but not essential.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR and Compliance Officer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for management.
- Work with management to implement software to manage compliance and HR more effectively moving forward.
- Manage administrative tasks related to compliance documentation and reporting.
- Engage in social media management to promote awareness of compliance initiatives within the organisation.
Experience
- Proven experience in a compliance role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in human resources or related fields is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

HR Responsibilites
- Provide HR support to employees and managers on payroll and HR administration queries
- Input new starter information on HR system
- Administer pre-employment checks
- Process employee time and attendance
- Recruitment and assist with the interview process
- Manage simple and complex pay queries through to resolution
- Support monthly payroll checking process
- Produce various HR Documents including offer letters, contracts of employment and change letters
- Administer employee changes on HR system and produce relevant supporting documentation
- Time and Attendance records
- Manage Disciplinary process
- Process Order Request Forms for Site
- SHEQ reporting to HQ
- Placing Purchase Orders
- Ensure stock takes are completed accurately to ensure the orders placed are correct.
- Manage Suppliers for certain goods for site ensuring KPIS agreed are met,

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
