Medsolve are proud to be working with a client who are looking for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to join their new home based in Clipstone.
This is a full-time, permanent role.
My client offers a salary £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience).

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Residential Children’s Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with relevant regulations. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving positive outcomes for the children, promoting a culture of teamwork, and empowering our dedicated staff members. You will have the opportunity to shape and develop our services, implementing innovative strategies and initiatives that set us apart from other providers in the industry.
The main responsibilities of the Registered Manager:
· Lead and inspire a team of caring professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of exceptional care services.
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, their families, and external stakeholders.
· Ensure the implementation of robust care plans, tailored to the individual needs and aspirations of each child, promoting their personal development and well-being.
· Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided, conducting regular audits, and implementing improvement strategies to maintain high standards.
· Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
· Manage budgets and resources effectively.
· Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safeguarding.
Requirements of the Registered Manager:
· Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, Diploma in Residential Childcare)
· The successful candidate will need to be approved by the appropriate statutory body. This will require full OFSTED registration in accordance with their respective conditions and timescales.
· Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential children’s home setting.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team of dedicated professionals.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.
· Sound knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of children.
· Ability to think innovatively and implement creative strategies to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes.
· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
· Registered Managers will need to be flexible in terms of their specific location.
