I am on the hunt for a dedicated Ofsted Registered Manager or an experienced Ofsted Deputy Manager who is looking to move up the ladder, embrace their newest challenge, and oversee the operations of our 4-bed EBD Home. This incredible company is looking for someone to embrace this new challenge and oversee its operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Young person care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to residents.
This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care, ensuring that all Young People receive personalised support tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
- Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each child’s needs.
- Administer medication as required, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Supervise and support staff in delivering exceptional care, fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and any incidents that occur.
- Ensure that the facility meets all regulatory requirements for home care, including health and safety standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting professional development and best practices in child care.
- Engage with families to provide updates on their children’s progress and address any concerns.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring a smooth workflow and high standards of care.
- Oversee the implementation of dementia care strategies where applicable, ensuring sensitive support for children with specific needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in home care settings, preferably within nursing homes, assisted living, or care homes.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on leadership and team management.
- Experience in providing dementia care is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and staff members.
- A compassionate approach to caring for children with diverse needs.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or health management are essential.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Managing within Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Residential Childcare: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Level 3/4 Residential Childcare (preferred)
- Level 5 Leadership and Management (preferred)
