Hours: Relief hours
Markeaton Primary School has a vacancy for a Relief Midday Supervisor to look after the children during the lunch break – supervising them while they eat and making sure that they play safely.
Hours are 1 hour 25 minutes between 11.45 am and 1.30 pm, Monday to Friday during term-time.
The rate of pay is £12.45 per hour for relief staff, which includes holiday pay. Payment is also made for Inset days: training is sometimes given on Inset days and, if so, normal working hours apply.
The main requirements of the job are:
1. to relate well to children of primary school age;
2. to remain calm under pressure;
3. to accept a degree of responsibility.
