Residential Care Home Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a Home Manager for our 30 bedded residential care home in East Belfast.

Salary Negotiable

Essential criteria –

– First level Registered Nurse registered with NMC

Or

– Social Worker Registered with NISCC

Or

– Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and have 5 years practice in a relevant setting, which must include at least 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health and social care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the residential care home, ensuring compliance with NISCC and NMC standards.
• Lead and manage staff, providing supervision and support to promote high-quality care.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs, including those with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and adults with learning disabilities.
• Ensure proper medication administration and maintain accurate records.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment for residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
