About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed Conveyancer to join our team in Blackburn. You must have CLC qualification or equivalent. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with at least 12 months of conveyancing experience who can manage a diverse caseload independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Caseload Management: Oversee a variety of transactions, including freehold, leasehold, newbuild, and shared ownership cases, from instruction to completion.
  • Process Oversight: Manage sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages while liaising with brokers, estate agents, solicitors, and clients.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third parties, providing regular updates and ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Documentation: Prepare and issue contracts, address enquiries, and analyse search results with precision and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Recognise and address potential risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous records and ensure all files meet SLAs, regulatory standards, and internal policies.

Skills and Experience

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor with at least 12 months’ experience. (Must have CLC qualifications or equivalent).
  • Expertise in residential and commercial property transactions, including freehold and leasehold cases (registered and unregistered).
  • Proven ability to handle cases independently, from initial instruction to post-completion.
  • Key Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of the conveyancing process and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

The role of a Residential Conveyancer is pivotal in facilitating the smooth transfer of property ownership. This position involves managing all aspects of the conveyancing process for residential properties, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and providing exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail, enabling them to navigate the complexities of property transactions effectively.

Duties

Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion.

Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other professionals involved in the transaction.

Conduct property searches and obtain relevant documentation.

Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.

Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the transaction.

Provide clear communication to clients regarding progress and any issues that may arise.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to each case.

Handle any queries or concerns raised by clients promptly and professionally.

Skills

Proficient IT skills to utilise conveyancing software and manage electronic documentation efficiently.

Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
