Overview
2Four Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration and Asbestos Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely handling and removing asbestos materials from various sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be also be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling structures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work with hand and power tools, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely remove asbestos-containing materials from buildings and structures.
- Safely operate power tools and hand tools to dismantle buildings and structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform restoration and cleaning tasks.
- Prepare work areas by setting up containment barriers and ensuring proper ventilation.
- Conduct thorough inspections of work sites before, during, and after asbestos removal.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize exposure risks.
- Clean up work areas after job completion, ensuring all hazardous materials are disposed of properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion while maintaining high safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or environmental remediation is preferred.
- Proven experience in restoration related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction or restoration work.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to ladder safety and asbestos handling and removal.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on restoring environments safely.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various conditions.
- Able to work on elevated platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Certifications needed: Asbestos, Fire and Water Restoration, AEP and EWP.
- Safety Tickets (CSTS, WHIMS, FALL PROTECTION, FIRST AID, H2 ALIVE, CONFINED SPACE).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
