Sales & Business Development Executive

Job Description

We’re hiring for a Sales & Business Development Executive to join a well-established supplier at their site based in Bedford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to develop new business opportunities, maintain strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth in a fast-moving environment.

• £40,000 – £45,000 per year (OTE £80K)

What will you be doing as a Sales & Business Development Executive?

• Driving new business sales and identifying new opportunities
• Managing and expanding relationships with existing customers
• Proactively selling a range of specialist products
• Conducting market research to identify potential growth areas
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Engaging with end users to maximise product pull-through
• Using CRM systems to track leads and maintain accurate sales records

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in non-mechanical plant, equipment hire, or construction
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
