The Sales Specialist provides essential support to Modernization Sales Executives, to drive proactivity across the modernization portfolio base. This role involves interacting with sales executives to drive and focus on Kone 2025 growth plan, supporting sales team with tendering Kone campaigns.

We seek an individual that is capable of driving and influencing the evolution and improvement of KONE product offerings and solutions from the factory and locally, working with CSE, the Sales Managers and Business Development team.

Skills:

  • Become expert knowledge of the KONE MOD’s product offering / packages and solutions (full range) and strong awareness / working knowledge of PDM technical documentation.
  • Capable of determining the best KONE product fit for each inquiry. Ensure Smart tendering and focus on projects and customers where we will have success (especially off portfolio third party driven specs).
  • Expert knowledge of KONE KTOC costing tools / templates and Salesforce.
  • Strong awareness / knowledge of market prices for key product offerings and ensure CM2%’s are maximized, this will need a close interaction with the sales team and analysis of CRM Win / Loss data. Develop CRM dashboard to support these market analysis activities.
  • Determine the type of survey required and raise CRM survey requests / needs a collaborative approach to managing survey priorities.
  • Drive and influence the simplification of KONE pricing tools and tendering and, the development of KTOC templates / effectiveness and relevance of KTOC local options (Focusing on Sales efficiency and speed of tenders).
  • Capable of completing LILO calculations when needed.
  • Cost and provide to the sales team customer proposals (budget and full).

Experiences:

  • Drive and influence the evolution of KONE tender documents and budget proposals to simplify the customer messaging and focusing on customer value proposition (specific focus on digital and sustainability value).
  • Collaboration with CSE is key in ensuring CSE resource is only utilized when needed due to the technical complexity of the project (in this role you will need to be comfortable with challenging unproductive and inefficient processes).
  • Collaboration (including pre-tender reviews) with Operations team in determining the most cost effective and accurate approach for tendering complex projects. Ensure learnings from previous projects are acted upon and implanted into future offerings.
  • Work with Sales team to drive pro-active campaigns, examples are HydroMod / MonoMod / Car Deco / Door gears / TMS Controllers / Obsolescence. The Sales Specialist focusing on data and direction with the Sales team focusing on driving the campaign and customer interaction.
  • Working with Operations and Procurement to simplify the pricing of repeat and local options and target reduction in the number currently in KTOC.

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in Sales and Customer Service is essential.
  • Advanced Microsoft and CRM literacy.
  • Salesforce is desirable.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken).

In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies products therefore previous sales experience in a similar role within a builder’s merchant environment is essential. A driving license is preferred for this role. Please note that this role will involve working alternate Saturdays.

The Work You’ll Do:
