Job Description

Our client, a technology services partner, based in Basingstoke, is currently hiring for a Sales Support Manager to ensure the sales support team operates efficiently and effectively by providing administrative, logistical, and operational support to the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Team management for a team of max 4.
  • Performance management of the team in accordance with agreed business SLA’s.
  • Supporting the relevant Sales account teams as required.
  • Ownership of the sales process (Quote to Order), ensuring adherence to the agreed process whilst looking at ways to optimize, streamline, and introduce effective improvements to the business.
  • Ownership of the CRM system, always looking at ways to improve the overall effectiveness and user experience of the system.
  • Ownership for opportunities created on CRM.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of team management experience in a sales support function.
  • The ability to manage a team ensuring delivery of a proactive and professional service and in parallel ensuring team development in line with business objectives.
  • Excellent people and communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive these to conclusion.
  • A customer-focused individual who is passionate about "Service Excellence".
  • Highly organised individual with a strong "can do" attitude.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday. This role is a hybrid role working 3 days from the offices in Basingstoke.

Act as an ambassador for the company aiding progression of sales from offer to completion by monitoring timescales and ensuring a five star word of mouth service.

Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm


W
hat you’d be doing Day to Day:

  • Oversee sales from offer to completion by monitoring timescales
  • Gain feedback from the buyer and regularly update our client, the seller
  • Report weekly and monthly sales progress updates
  • Maintain strong working relationships with local solicitors and third parties
  • Ensure sales are signed off and the offer sheet is complete and correct, with particular attention to timescales
  • Communicate with team – morning and monthly meetings – updating on feedback, pipeline and additional service leads
  • Deal with surveys and re-negotiations
  • Promote and monitor additional services within the office – Solicitors, Financial Services and Surveys
  • Deliver a ‘Nothing is too much trouble’ service to generate new and repeat business


Requirements & Skills:

  • Strong negotiator with excellent communication skills
  • Previous property sales desirable
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service experience
