Job Description
To assist the clinical team and patients with their referral and relevant enquiries so as to be able to direct patients to the most appropriate service or healthcare professional in order to meet their needs in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Managing the expectations of patients, their carers or guardians in to provide a high standard of patient focused service. The post-holder will pro-actively communicate relevant information between patients and their healthcare professional. The succesful candidate will be responsible for: Typing and processing of referrals, dealing with queries in person, by telephone and electronically.
Arranging of relevant appointments. Checking for tasks, completing where possible and passing other tasks to relevant person. Controling all patient files and related admin to required quality standards and in line with information governance and DPA regulations. Maintaining accurate records.
Delivering and supporting the achievement of performance targets and KPIs.
