Security Supervisor – Aylesbury

Shift pattern: Monday-Friday 06:00-18:00

Location: Aylesford

Salary: £13.72 per hour

The primary purpose of the role is to serve as a crucial and effective interface between the client and the Security Company, ensuring the seamless execution of all security operations. The Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high standard of safety and security by implementing Company Policies and Procedures at all times. This involves:

Client Relations: Building and maintaining a strong, professional relationship with the client, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction with the security services provided.

Policy Implementation: Ensuring that all security personnel strictly adhere to the Company’s Policies and Procedures, including compliance with legal regulations and industry standards.

Team Leadership: Supervising and guiding the security team, including training, performance evaluation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Incident Management: Leading the response to security incidents, including conducting investigations, reporting findings, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Operational Efficiency: Overseeing daily security operations, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively, with optimal use of resources.

Risk Assessment: Regularly assessing potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the client’s premises and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate them.

Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters, ensuring clear and timely communication between the client, security personnel, and company management.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports on security activities, incidents, and performance metrics for both the client and company management.

Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures and conducting regular drills to ensure the readiness of the security team.

Compliance Monitoring: Continuously monitoring and auditing security operations to ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Essential requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence
  • Proficient in written and oral communication in English.
  • Competent IT and keyboard skills.
  • Demonstrated capability in understanding and sensitive management.
  • Strong personnel management skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with an aptitude for analysing ongoing situations.
