Due to continued growth an opportunity have arisen for an EXPERIENCED security system installer to join our team

The package

• Full time
• Hours 8.30-5.00
• 30 min unpaid lunch break
• 5 day week
• callout rota – 1 week in 5 or 6
• good callout rates
• 20 days plus stats
• Additional day’s leave per full calendar year worked up to max 4
• Your Birthday on leave (or next working day if falls at weekend) – accrues after full calendar year
• standby paid for week on call
• Working Midlands mostly
• car or van provided
• all test equipment provided
• qualifications can be gained at Mercury
• meal and stay away allowance paid if working away
• Overtime and expenses

Responsibilities include installation and corrective maintenance of:-

• security systems
• fire systems – training can be provided if no experience
• access systems
• Nurse call systems – training can be provided if no experience
• Other duties as required

Experience required

• minimum 2 years’ experience as an installation engineer but prefer more
• must be able to work without supervision
• experience of working in industrial, commercial and residential environment

Skills required

• ability to install, fault find, correct issues found and work to current standards/regulations
• ability to work in a team or alone
• Full driving licence
• neat workmanship
• ECS Card
• Qualifications in the industry desirable

Salary range to £38000.00+/- per year negotiable and dependent upon experience , for qualified/time serviced/suitably experienced engineers – pay will be based on merit/experience
