SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunities!

DegreeSix are working with a fantastic Primary School in Coventry who have a high intake of pupils with Special Educational Needs.

They currently have 4 pupils in Year 1 who are in need of additional support on a daily basis. The needs of the pupils range between challenging behaviour, autism, ADHD and mainly need support with remaining focused within the class. Each pupil has an EHCP in place and therefore each need a 121 Teaching Assistant to work alongside them.

The roles will be to start around November 2024 on a temp to perm basis meaning you can work towards the opportunity of a permanent contract with the school after around 12 weeks.

Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but please still apply if you have limited experience but a passion and desire to enhance the lives of children throughout their education!

You would need 2 checkable references and an Enhanced DBS Online which we can help you obtain if you don’t have one already.
