Senior Chef de Partie, Singl-end Cafe Bakehouse
Job Description
The Singl-end Café are seeking a Chef de partie to come in join the company and work with a successful team of chefs. We are looking for experienced reliable individuals who can compliment what has already been achieved and work with the head chef to build going forward. Our food is based on using locally sourced ingredients and cooking them to traditional recipes which allow the quality of ingredients to shine and is heavily vegetarian and gluten free influenced
Any successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team when it comes to all areas of kitchen work such as service, food preparation and kitchen cleaniliness. Experienced candidates should be able to balance the importance that is placed on front of house service with the organisation skills required to fulfil the back of house procedures that allow us to ensure compliance with all food safety regulation. An attention to detail and pride in setting high professional standards are ideal attributes in any candidates.
English language skills essential and current elementary food hygenie certificate helpful, although training will be provided.
Hours – Full time hours approx. 35-45 hrs per week, mainly daytime hours and dependent on rota and staff holidays.
Salary – Depending on experience, skills and eventual Job position plus pension and tips. Alternatively if an hourly rate preferred by candidate this would be an option as well.
