Senior Childcare Practitioner

Job Description

We are looking for a Part Time Senior Childcare Practitioner in our Childcare provision. You will play a vital role in the day-to day operation of the Childcare Facility to support the Childcare Manager and Senior team, in creating and maintaining the day-to-day operation and running of the Rainbow Castle Childcare. Creating a warm, friendly and engaging environment, for our children and families who attend the establishment, as well as our staff team. Knowledge of the current curriculum and learning frame works as well as leading a team is vital in the role of Senior Childcare Practitioner, and the successful applicant will be required to demonstrate genuine skills in this area. All staff must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of accepting the position. It is essential for Senior Childcare Practitioners to hold the relevant SVQ Level3/HNC Early Education and Childcare Qualification. Successful candidates are subject to the appropriate PVG Scheme checks and cannot commence their role until the safer recruitment process has been completed. References will also be requested prior to commencement of employment.
