Marlin operates a premium collection of Serviced Apartments, Hotels, and Aparthotels across central London and Dublin.

As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a skilled Senior Hotel Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth operation of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

  • To drive the brand standards, ensuring a consistent guest experience is achieved
  • To remain highly visible and retain presence in guest areas
  • To analyse guest feedback, understand themes and strategize continuous improvement
  • To respond to guest feedback in a timely manner
  • To identify improvement areas and find resolutions for the guest experience
  • To investigate and resolve customer issues
  • To maintain and in-depth local knowledge, in order to WOW the guest, promote sales and ensure that all employees are provided with the necessary information to perform their job effectively
  • To ensure the correct resources are available to provide seamless service

Employee Experience:

  • To manage employee relations issues leading consistent and fair practice
  • To create positive employment experiences for the front office and F&B team
  • To attract, recruit, select and retain top talent
  • To ensure colleagues are given opportunities to continually learn and develop
  • To manage employee performance and provide regular feedback
  • To upkeep records for compliance, training and performance of all employees
  • To ensure the rota is prepared
  • Ensures all employees adhere to company health, hygiene, safety, security and emergency procedures including providing training Operations

Operations:

  • To supervise daily shift processes ensuring standard operating procedures are followed
  • To ensure the departments are compliant with H&S requirements
  • To build strong relationships and liaising with all other departments, particularly housekeeping, maintenance and reservations
  • To ensure policies and procedures are adopted and followed within the business
  • To foster a transparent and open relationship with stakeholders
  • Deputising in the absence of the Hotel Manager & Assistant Hotel Manager
  • Ensures purchase orders are raised to ensure the smooth running of the department
  • Performs DM shifts as and when needed
  • To ensure all other areas of the operation are effectively executed by maintaining communication with the leadership team

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

  • Bonus scheme

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
