Service Support Manager
Job Description
Diagnostic World is a leading provider of diagnostic services to the NHS, delivering rapid access to scans for patients since 2006. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and driven Service Support Manager to lead our Service Support team and drive operational excellence across HR, Finance, and Quality Assurance functions.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a team of four coordinators, and focus on improving workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Service Support team, ensuring smooth delivery of support across HR, Finance, and Quality Assurance.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency to align with organisational goals.
- Oversee payroll operations, with a view to bringing this service in-house by 2025.
- Manage and motivate a team of four coordinators, conducting appraisals and providing cover as needed.
- Act as the escalation point for complex service issues and ensure effective resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations, supporting policy reviews and risk management.
- Prepare performance reports and contribute to monthly management information packs.

£30k – £40k (depending upon experience)

About You:
- Proven experience in team management, operational oversight, and process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of HR, Finance, and Quality Assurance functions.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
- Effective communicator with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a remote environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
