Job Description

Responsibilities:
– Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications
– Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and materials required
– Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and smooth wood
– Perform heavy lifting as needed for materials and equipment
– Ensure accuracy and quality of workmanship
– Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Skills:
– Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for woodworking
– Strong carpentry skills with the ability to fabricate and assemble wooden structures
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans
– Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of workmanship
– Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during construction projects
– Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting as required

-Must be competent with pan shutters

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £20.00-£24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

• stoke on trent ST4 8BE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
• shuttering: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (required)
• Driving Licence (preferred)
