Site Chemist

Salary: Up to £35,000
Shift: Monday to Friday
Location: Rainham

My client, is looking for a Site Chemist to join their site.

The Site Chemist will be responsible for handling, inspecting, sampling and recording of incoming / outgoing Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste

The successful Site Chemist – Waste / Recycling Industry will be required to do the following:

• Assessing on the basis of Health and Safety, Environmental Compliance and Cost Control
• Processing / Labelling/ correctly storing waste
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly
• Completing waste safety checks
• Ensuring incoming waste is inspected requirements

Requirements from the successful Site Chemist:

• HNC Degree in Chemistry
• Experience as a site chemist previously
• Experience in the Hazardous Waste Sector ideal
• FLT license ideal
