Kick-Off Sports is a highly reputable Sports Coaching/Teaching company based in Peterborough. We predominantly provide PE, Dinner Time and After School Sports Clubs for primary school children within the Greater Peterborough area.

  • Coaching afterschool, holiday clubs, dinner time clubs and Wraparound Cover.
  • PE sessions within Primary Phase
  • Coaching a Saturday morning football session.

Mandatory

  • Transport or ability to travel
  • Passionate and motivated to inspire desire to coach and develop young people
  • Level 2 NGB qualification
  • Have the ability to plan, deliver and evaluate a coaching session.
  • 16+

Desirable

  • DBS (A DBS will be applied for and cleared before any coaching/teaching can take place)
  • Variation or multiple NGB qualifications
  • First Aid qualification

This will be a part time position with a view to a permanent role.
Sports coaches will be paid by the session and depending on qualification and experience.

Full Job Description

MNR Coaching have an exciting opportunity available for coaches and leaders to further their experience in Sports Coaching, Community Coaching and Holiday Camp delivery.

The applicant will have access to a full range of resources for all the sectors through MNRs online platform and be supported with schemes of work and CPD to continually support their development.

The applicant will support MNR Coaching in locations across their network of schools and partners within the catchment area, the successful candidate will be expected to travel to different locations to complete a full allocation of hours – MNR Coaching fully support all staff members with a weekly mileage expense scheme.

Working Hours

The role will be MondayFriday, but there will be weekend work available for overtime pay.

There will be flexible working arrangements available for the role with opportunities for 30 hours full time based on the experience and availability of the applicant. There will be an expectation for the candidate to be ‘flexible’ through the week to support delivering our school services and community sessions.

Essential Requirements

– At least 1 x recognised NGB Qualification in traditional sport(s) – level 1 or above.

– Experience in delivering to children (4-11 age bracket).

– Experience in teaching PE lessons/ASCs in Primary Schools.

– Full, clean DBS (renewed within the last 3 years) or eligibility to completing before start date of role.

– Updated First Aid/Child Protection Certificate (or willingness to self-fund an update by the start date).

– Flexibility in working across the full week including mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Desirable Requirements

– Numerous NGB Qualifications in a range of sports.

– L2 NGB Coaching Qualification.

– Experience in delivering Youth Work and Holiday Camp delivery.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated colleague, in the role as Sports Coach who will work both individually, and as part of a team including Teachers and other support staff and/or one to one with a child to support the learning and welfare of all children at Moorlands. The role will involve leading and organising sporting events both internally and externally, training children for sports events, supporting with behaviour, as well as working in the classroom where needed.

This will be a 30-hour contract, with a flexible working pattern to allow for attendance at sporting events which run outside usual school hours. We are looking for a highly organised individual who will make a significant contribution to sports events at Moorlands.

The successful applicant will provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and for securing children’s physical and emotional wellbeing. Energy, patience, enthusiasm and a positive approach to learning are also vital to this role.

Job Description

Are you a Sports Coach, Multi Sports Coach or PE Teacher looking for work? Do you live in or around Croydon, Lambeth or Southwark?

Are you free all day on Thursday? We need a coach with a Level 2 coaching qualification in at least 1 sport or a degree in coaching to teacher PE in a primary school based in Tooting.

The Role:

As a PE teacher you will work with children from reception to year 6 delivering the PE Curriculum. You must be available all day on a Thursday.

You must be reliable, punctual, enthusiastic and have experience of working with primary school children. It is essential that you have a current DBS.

Successful applicants will be offered more hours depending on successful performance and positive feedback from school staff.

We offer a starting rate of £20ph + with an incentive scheme and on-going training.

All applicants MUST be:

  • UKCC Level 2 qualified (or higher) or have a degree in coaching
