Job Description

The Tarentfort Centre is a 20 bedded rehabilitation inpatient unit catering for men from the age of 18. It is comprises of two clinical areas an acute and sub-acute learning disability forensic.

We specialise in the assessment and treatment of men with a learning disability whose offending behaviour and complex mental health needs require care in a low secure setting.

The ward consists of a multi-disciplinary team of health care assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, speech and language therapist, doctors and consultants.

The role is a key member of the multidisciplinary care team and will have continuing responsibility to:

Carry out comprehensive nursing assessments and be responsible for producing individualised nursing care plans for named patients.
