Stock Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Stock Assistant to join our Kennington branch at MP Moran builder’s merchant. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to manage our stock levels on the shop floor, ensuring that we exceed our customers expectations.

Hours: Monday – Friday 7am-5pm, and alternate Saturdays 7:30-3pm

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage stock levels and replenishment on the shop floor.
  • Oversee the merchandise layout and presentation, implement promotions and maintain displays.
  • Process deliveries in and out of the store.
  • Ordering goods.
  • Answer customer queries in person and over the phone.
  • Other counter related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Communicate effectively and work as part of a busy team
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability to work on own initiative under pressure
  • Previous experience in a similar industry/sector is desirable

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
