Stores & Logistics Manager
We are currently working with a locally owned, growing business in helping them recruit for a Stores & Logistics Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all works within the warehouse.
The Role
· Monitor warehouse operations ensuring productivity levels are maintained to the highest possible standard
· Responsible for warehouse operations, stock control and delivery team
· Planning of delivery schedules and team rotas
· Ensuring all goods are stored in correct location and despatched in a timely and efficient manner
· Management of company stock levels
· Ensuring all documentation within the department is stored correctly
· Plan and schedule any maintenance work required for vehicles, machinery and equipment
· Responsible for the training and upskilling of staff members
· Ensuring team operate within company Health and Safety policies
· Other relevant duties
Essential Criteria
· A minimum 2 (+) years experience in a warehouse / logistics role
· Strong communication skills
· Available to work one in every three Saturdays
· Ability to lead and manage a team
· Excellent problem solving skills
