At DB Cargo UK we’re currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Team based in Doncaster.

You will be responsible in overseeing the end to end recruitment process for various roles across the business, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure the Talent Acquisition Strategy is implemented appropriately.

The role covers recruitment and selection across the whole of the UK, based out of our head office in Doncaster, however flexibility to travel as and when required to other sites is needed.


What will you be doing?

Working with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand recruitment requirements within areas across the business.

Manage end to end recruitment including advert writing, candidate screening, interview support and onboarding.

Manage recruitment trackers and ATS systems for all recruitment activity.

Support with process review within the Talent Acquisition team to drive improvements and efficiencies within the team.

Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities

Support the wider team with the delivery of the overall Talent Management Strategy which aligns to DB Cargo UK’s overall business strategy.

Championing diversity, equality, and inclusion by embedding inclusive hiring practices at every stage of the recruitment process


What are we looking for?

Experience of 360 recruitment, either in house or agency – with demonstrable experience of managing your own portfolio of roles

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS

Knowledge of Right to Work Regulations and compliance.

Organised & Resilient – able to adapt to every changing priorities.

Excellent customer service/stakeholder management capabilities – confident in being the specialist and advising and guiding Hiring Managers through best practice and process

Able to work to process but confident to make decisions if they stray away from the norm as long as the decision made is within policy

Ability to identify challenges and work to implement solutions

£30,000.00 -£35,000.00 per annum dependent on experience

Source Top Talent: Use your expertise in direct hiring to identify and engage passive candidates, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and building robust talent pipelines.

Drive Recruitment Excellence: Manage end-to-end recruitment for experienced hires across key service lines, ensuring fair and inclusive hiring practices.

Optimize with Data: Track and report on recruitment metrics, using insights to drive strategies that attract the best talent.

Enhance Employer Branding: Manage online attraction channels (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed), ensuring Menzies stands out as an employer of choice.

Collaborate & Support: Work closely with HRBPs and stakeholders, coordinating interviews and keeping our ATS (Kallidus Recruit) updated.
