Minerva Learning Trust is an expanding Sheffield based multi-academy Trust with a vision of providing outstanding education for all the students within our schools. Handsworth Grange Community Sports College is an oversubscribed 11-16 school in the south-east of Sheffield. We are seeking to appoint a well-motivated Teacher of Geography to join our outstanding Humanities team, the successful candidate will:

· have very high expectations of all students at all times

· play a full part in the life of the school community, support the Trust and school mission and ethos and encourage staff and students to follow this example

· ensure the consistent delivery of good achievement and progress for all students

· contribute significantly to the continued development and success of the Physical Education Department

· be a positive team player with a strong commitment to professional development

Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teacher of Geography to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA)

This is a permanent, full-time teaching post. We would welcome applicants from current trainees who will qualify in June 2025, for a 1 July 2025 start date. We would equally welcome applicants from current teaching positions, to start in September 2025.


About the Candidate

We’re looking for:

  • Someone with successful experience in the 11-16 phase. They will have thorough subject knowledge and an understanding of current curriculum developments.
  • Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a good communicator, with the ability to develop effective working relationships. We are looking for an individual who is able to enthuse, inspire and motivate students.
