Scargill Primary School

Job Description

The Governors of Buxton Infant School are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Job Description

Wirksworth Junior School wish to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant (27.5 hours a week) to join our happy and supportive school. This role is temporary until July 2025, however there may be an opportunity this role will become permanent because of pupil funding.

The post would be required to support children generally within the classroom as well as working with children with additional behaviour and educational needs in the school. Working alongside the SENDCo you will help to write individual education plans and communicate with parents on how we are supporting their child.

The post is to start asap, and we will offer some flexibility in the role, but we will need the successful candidate to work five days a week and over dinnertime to provide nurture support for those children that need this.
