We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team in providing exceptional care within a senior care environment. The Care Team Leader will play a pivotal role in supervising the care staff, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality support tailored to their individual needs. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to fostering a positive atmosphere within the care home.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to promote a collaborative environment.
- Monitor the well-being of residents and provide guidance to staff on delivering appropriate care.
- Conduct regular supervisions to discuss resident needs, updates, and training opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home
Experience
- Proven experience in senior care or a similar role is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with residents and their families compassionately.
- Previous experience in supervising staff within a care home setting is desirable.
You will be expected to work between 4 to 6 shifts a week, both AM and PM shifts, plus on-call for 1 weekend in 4 with an on-call allowance to help management, drive high standards and sustain high quality care.

Pay: £14.20 per hour
