Team Leader / Counter balance Forklift driver

Job Description

Responsibilities.

Day to day running of shift and team members in a safe and efficient manner.

Complete necessary office admin/paperwork accurately and timely.

Perform routine inspections.

Maintain appropriate records.

General duties to ensure a clean and organised yard/warehouse.

Safely load and unload stock from lorries.

Unload and load lorries from picking sheets.

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.

Assist with any other tasks as required by your manager.

Role is mainly based outdoors with some office work; therefore, candidate should be comfortable with outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Stock rotation and stock counting.

Clean as you go.

Requirements.

Heavy lifting is required. 25kg bags of potatoes.

Vverbal and written communication skills.

Efficient organisation and time management skills.

Previous experience in similar role, team leader/supervisor.

Ability to thrive both individually and part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

In date RTITB Counterbalance forklift licence.

Good communication skills.

Proficient in computer spread sheets, word/excel.

Shunting of vehicles.

Car licence.

Schedule.

Late shift. Sunday – Thursday.

Sunday 16:00 till finish usually 1am.

Monday to Thursday 15:00 till finish usually midnight.

Over time available.

Due to site location own transport is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour
