TIG Fabricator

Our client a leading engineer company based in Craigavon are recruiting for a TIG Fabricator to join their team

The successful candidate can work a 4 day or 4.5 day week depending on what suits them best.

The job role:

• To operate TIG welding equipment
• Cutting metal structures
• Responsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its tooling
• Clean tools, equipment and work areas
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Carry out general fabrication on steel

Essential Criteria:

• Previous proven experience in TIG welding
• Working knowledge and experience in correct measurement and marking of length, squareness, alignment, and flange bolt orientation
• Able to accurately use measurement tooling including measuring tape, square, pocket level, pipe level, centre finder, wrap around and flange pins
• Able to read engineer drawings
• Working knowledge of pipework tolerances and foresight of where to make adjustments if necessary

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• TIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
• Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
