Our client is seeking an experienced Tig Welder to join our team to help in manufacturing process products and services. Our ideal Tig Welder uses their industry experience and knowledge to provide exceptional service.

Requirements and Pay for the Tig Welder:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

We are actively seeking a TIG Welder/Fabricator to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings provided and work from your initiative
  • To work alongside the existing team in a busy environment
  • Fabricating pipework sections as per engineer drawings to the highest standard and quality
  • Proper handling of machines and tools at all times
  • Observe or monitor objects to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards
  • Visually inspect welds to determine compliance with standards
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service

Experience & Knowledge
Essential

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience fabricating/welding with black iron and stainless-steel pipe
  • To be competent in operating hand and power tools common to the Fabricating / Welding trade
  • Experience using Personal Protective Equipment and have experience of operation safety equipment and use safe work habits

Skills

  • Must have the ability to work from detailed drawings
  • Very good attention to detail
  • Excellent attitude to Health & Safety and Quality standards
  • Willingness to maintain good housekeeping & safe working environment
