Job Description

Driver Hire Gatwick is currently looking for a highly organized and proactive Transport Admin Support to work with a prestigious client in the transport industry. This is a temporary position with the potential for the role to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the transport team.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of deliveries, schedules, and fleet information.
  • Coordinate with drivers and clients, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries, offering excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, tracking and ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
  • Perform general office duties as required, including data entry, filing, and document management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or transport support role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of transport operations and logistics is an advantage but not essential.
