• Ability to earn £30,000 per year OTE

Position: Tyre Fitter / Fast-fit Technician

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Job Location: Sheffield, S2 4SE

Hours: 42 hours average per week

Working Days: Monday – Friday. Saturday mornings on rota.

Job Description

As a Tyre Fitter, you will be responsible for fitting and repairing car, van, and 4×4 tyres, fitting TPMS equipment, and performing wheel alignments.

As a Fast-Fit Technician, you would have further responsibilities for fitting fast-fit mechanical components for all types of light vehicles in a busy independent automotive repair workshop.

You will be expected to;

• Carry out work to the highest industry standards.
• Examine vehicles, recording all findings on the job card.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the necessary Health and Safety guidelines.
• Help in the maintenance of a clean and organised workspace.

All Candidates MUST;

• Be reliable and keen to learn
• Have a Strong work ethic
• Be willing and able to work under instruction and guidance.

The IDEAL Candidate would have:

• A level 2 IMI / City & Guild or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenace and Repair
• 3 or more years of experience working in an automotive repair workshop.
• A full UK Driving Licence
• His / her own a set of basic tools suitable for the work being performed.
