Vehicle Mechanic

We have a vacancy for an experienced vehicle mechanic to work in our Plant and Fleet Department in Alva.

Typical Duties include:

· Diagnosing, repairing and servicing the fleet of company vehicles

· working well in a team and communicating well

· monitoring the stock and ordering parts when required

· Updating service records

· Maintain good standards of housekeeping within workshop.

Candidate must have a driving licence to test drive the vehicles.

Job Description

Wilco Motosave is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to fill the position of Mechanic. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles, equipment, and other mechanical devices. The Mechanic will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that all repairs are completed to or within company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles using mechanical knowledge, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues to identify necessary repairs.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.
  • Possess a valid driving license to test drive vehicles after repairs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
