Are you organised, reliable, and looking for a rewarding volunteering opportunity in the Whitstable area?

Volunteer club leader required for our social club that meets weekly on a Monday afternoon in Whitstable. This is a social and support club for adults with visual impairment living in the local area, affiliated with Kent Association for the Blind.

The group enjoys socialising and playing a variety of board games, such as dominoes, cribbage and backgammon.

We are looking for someone to take a leading role in organising the club entertainment, transport and outings, though support will be given by other volunteers and Kent Association for the Blind.

Similar experience in either a paid or voluntary role would be preferable, but what is most important is that you have the people skills and want to support those in your local community. Full support and training provided. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check that we will carry out for you.

Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer

Pay: £1.00 per year

Volunteer club leader required for our social club that meets once a month on a Wednesday afternoon in Hythe. This is a social and support club for adults with visual impairment living in Shepway, affiliated with Kent Association for the Blind.

The group has refreshments and has regular activities such as speakers, entertainers, quizzes, table games and most importantly fun.

We are looking for someone to take a leading role in organising the club entertainment, transport and outings, though support will be given by other volunteers and Kent Association for the Blind.

Similar experience in either a paid or voluntary role would be preferable, but what is most important is that you have the people skills and want to support those in your local community. Full support and training provided. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check that we will carry out for you.
