The Role

Due to continued growth and expansion we are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated warehouse operative to join our team.

We are advertising for a picker/ packer on our late shift (11.00hrs – 19.30hrs), plus any additional hours in line with business needs. Due to the nature of the the business and us offering a next day service this role is effectively a job and finish shift. This will be discussed further during the interview.

As a member of the warehouse team you will be working alongside people whose job it is to help ensure customers’ orders are picked, packed and loaded both efficiently and accurately, to a standard that you would expect yourself when receiving a delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude with a passion to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that the successful candidate must hold a full valid UK Driving Licence.

Main Responsibilities

Ensuring orders are picked accurately in a timely manner.

Ensure orders are packaged appropriately to help ensure they arrive at their destination in pristine condition.

Replenishment of stock picking bins.

Loading of company vehicles with finished parcels.

Booking in of deliveries

Ad-hoc requests by the warehouse manager.

Operate within a clean as you go policy ensuring areas are kept tidy at all times.

Maneuvering fleet vehicles as required.

– Forklift operation experience
– Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
– Strong attention to detail for quality control
– Capability to lift heavy items and load/unload efficiently
