Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of our websites to ensure they responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance and help to drive key business results for our premium ladies clothing brand. We are seeking an experienced Web Development Manager who has a strong understanding of web standards, SEO principles and experience in project management to join our expanding web team.
With a focus on driving revenue growth and supporting profit margins, you will work with our web development agency to align their work with our strategic objectives and collaborate with our senior leadership, marketing and design teams to turn business goals into effective web strategies. In addition, you will regularly review website performance, making data-driven decisions to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall revenue impact and manage the web development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, and keep up to date with the latest web technologies and trends.
Analytical and business minded, you will be capable of assessing the financial impact of web projects, ensuring that they contribute positively to the company’s revenue and profit goals, and monitor project costs to support profitability and maintain healthy profit margins.
This is an exciting new role ideal for a business-minded individual who is analytical, commercial, and experienced in working on websites in a sales or business-driven environment.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of web standards, SEO principles, and accessibility best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Magento and Akeneo
David Nieper design and manufacture their own label fashion collections, including nightwear, outerwear and knitwear, in the UK. The business employs 250 people across 4 sites in Alfreton as well as overseas. The company is a long-established family business, with a reputation for producing well-made, high-quality clothes. The company specialise in mail order and online selling, direct to customers throughout the UK and worldwide.
