Essentials

• GCSE- grades 5-9/A-C
• Able to ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
• Appropriate behaviour management
• Able to participate in child observations and assessments with a good understanding of child development

What fills your heart with happiness about your role?

The people that I work with. The children also fill my hear with happiness as I enjoy planning events and activities.

How are you supported at Monkey Puzzle to develop and progress your career?

I have done Paediatric First Aid training, as well as other key courses such as FGM, Safeguarding etc. I work in a room supporting the Room Leader and other qualified practitioners who have helped me gain experience whilst on the job.

What would you say to anyone with a choice of early years childcare as a possible career path?

It is so rewarding as you see the children that you support daily, grow and develop as their individual characters begin to flourish. Your aim is to care and build those secure attachment with your children, build relationships with parents and ensure each child is happy, safe, and having fun whilst learning.

Pay: £23,795.20-£24,500.00 per year
