Job Type: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Cambridge

Pay: £80-£90 per day

DegreeSix are searching for a SEN teaching assistant to join a lovely little primary school in Cambridge. They are looking for someone to help support a SEN class throughout the day. Within this class the main need is ASD.

This role itself will include personal care, so please make sure you are aware of this when applying.

The school is located a little bit further out so they are ideally looking for a driver!

The Role:

• Working with children who need extra support with their academic and social skills.
• Assisting with tailored individualised educational programs
• Presenting feedback/student progress to class teacher and parents
• Providing personal care to the students.

To be successful:

• SEN experience is preferred in a school or similar setting.
• Experience working with children.
• Patience and passionate about supporting students with special needs.
• Ability to work within a team and contribute positively.
